As a team leader, you’ll enjoy an 80/20 commission split with a $16K cap, while your team members benefit from a reduced $8K half cap. Plus, team members contribute a minimum 75/25 commission split to the team leader on all transactions, all while working toward their own eXp cap. This structure is built to maximize earnings, streamline operations, and fuel long-term success for both leaders and agents alike!

Build a High-Performing Team with eXp’s Mega Icon Team Structure
For teams with 10+ agents, the Mega Icon Team model at eXp Realty offers unmatched benefits. Each agent enjoys a quarter cap of just $4,000, while the team leader’s cap remains at $16,000—allowing for greater profitability and scalability.
To qualify, teams must have closed 175 transactions or $40M+ in sales over the last 12 months. The combined team cap is $56,000 (10 agents x $4K + $16K for the leader), which must be met annually, even if individual agents don’t reach their cap. While this structure is a great fit for teams of 10, it’s an even bigger advantage for larger teams of 20+ agents looking to maximize earnings and growth potential.

Perfect for agents starting a small team or partnership, the Group Team structure at eXp Realty offers maximum flexibility. Under this model, all agents operate under the standard $16,000 cap (80/20 split) with no required commission split to a team leader—giving you full control over your earnings.
Forming a Group Team comes with key advantages. There’s no formal team agreement required, allowing you to build your business on your own terms. There’s no minimum 25% team commission split, so you can customize the arrangement to fit your needs. Agents also remain eligible for eXp stock awards, including the ICON Agent program, where they can earn back up to $16K in stock each year.
